· 1 pound ground chicken
· ¼ cup crushed Melting Parmesan Cheesesticks
· ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
· 1 egg
· 2 teaspoons Italian season· salt and pepper to taste
· 2 tablespoon olive oil
· ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
· 1 ½ cups marinara sauce
· 8 ounces fresh mozzarella
· 1 bag Olive Oil & Sea Salt Grilled Crostini Toasts


1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, crushed Cheesesticks, parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, and a pinch each of salt and pepper.
3. Roll meatball mixture into tablespoon sized balls.
4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once it simmers, add the meatballs and cook about 3-5 minutes per side, or until lightly browned.
5. Arrange crostini toasts on a baking sheet. Top each toast with a light layer of marinara. Add a meatball, and top each piece with a slice of mozzarella. Transfer to the oven, and bake for 5-10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
6. Once removed from the oven, top each toast with fresh basil and a sprinkle of parmesan. Serve warm.
