40 Years of Family Baking
The "perfect crunch" of our twice-baked gourmet goods stems back to 1976 when a small catering business in California was brought to life by our own John Macy. After many late nights and crafty combinations, John struck gold in the form of a CheeseStick. Made from delicately formed sourdough, layers of aged cheeses, creamery butter and hand-picked seasonings, they became an overnight success. Macy soon moved to the Big Apple to follow his dream of sharing his delicious discovery with all of you. In the mid-1980s he created CheeseCrisps as a bar snack for a premier NYC hotel and has recently brought the addition of Grilled Crostini Toasts into our savory selection. Forty years and a move across the Hudson River later, the heart of our brand still comes from the kitchen. The Macy Family Bakery’s sixty employees have stayed true to our wholesome baked snacks of unrivaled quality, taste, and texture and are thrilled to share our story-starter with you to create your own beginnings. With real ingredients and a delicious taste, our snacks transform everyday events into memorable occasions. Whatever journey you are jumping into, give it a special beginning with a snack that is Simple. Real. Extraordinary.
