6 Easy & Cheesy Dips for Dunking CheeseSticks

Pizza Dip

This deliciously zesty dip is perfect for anyone who loves pizza (and who doesn’t?). This recipe is great as is, or for a more customized treat, you can swap out the pepperoni for your favorite pizza topping.


8 oz. brick of cream cheese, softened

1 ½ Cups grated mozzarella cheese – divided

1 Cup finely grated Parmesan cheese – divided

1 heaping cup of pizza sauce

Pepperoni slices


Preheat oven to 375º. Spray a 9” pie plate with cooking spray.

Spread cream cheese over the bottom and sides of pie plate.

Sprinkle ¾ Cup mozzarella cheese over the cream cheese

Sprinkle ½ Cup Parmesan cheese over the cream cheese.

Spread pizza sauce over cheeses.

Spread remaining cheeses over the sauce.

Top with pepperoni slices.

Bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.

Italian Herb and Cheese Dip

Here’s a great savory dip that will zip up any cocktail party!


½ pound grated mozzarella cheese

½ pound grated fontina cheese

1 Tbs. cornstarch

1 Tbs. olive oil

1 Tbs. minced garlic

1 tsp. red pepper flakes

5 oz. evaporated milk

¼ Cup Parmesan cheese

2 Tbs. chopped basil

1 Tbs. each chopped oregano, thyme, rosemary

½ tsp. lemon zest

Salt and pepper to taste


Place cheeses in a bowl, toss with cornstarch, an set aside

Sautee garlic and pepper flakes in oil until fragrant

Stir in evaporated milk and bring to a boil. Reduce heat , add cheeses, stir until melted. Stir in herbs and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper.

Philly Cheesesteak Dip

1 Tbs. vegetable oil

½ lb. ribeye steak, sliced thin and roughly chopped

2/3 Cup finely chopped onion

1 jar of cheese spread (or make your own cheese sauce)

Salt and pepper to taste


Saute meat in oil until brown. Season with salt and pepper

Set steak aside but keep drippings in pan.

Reduce heat, add onions, and cook until soft and brown.

Stir in cheese sauce. Heat until smooth.

Stir in meat.

Avocado and Feta Dip

This verdant combination of mildly sweet avocado and salty feta is the perfect addition to a springtime party table.


2 avocados, peeled and pitted

½ Cup feta cheese

¼ Cup diced onion

1 clove minced garlic

1 Tbs. minced jalapeno

1/3 Cup chopped cilantro

Juice of one lime

Salt and pepper to taste


Place all ingredients except salt and pepper in a food processor or blender and blend until creamy and smooth.

Season with salt and pepper.

Five-minute AsiagoDip

1 Cup grated Asiago cheese

1 Cup mayonnaise

1 jar of marinated artichoke hearts, chopped

1 clove of garlic, minced


In a microwave-safe bowl, stir together all ingredients

Heat in the microwave at 50% power for 30 seconds at a time. Stir between heatings until everything is melted and creamy.

Beer and Cheese Dip

What’s better than cheese? Beer and cheese, that’s what. This dip combines the best of both in a savory dip that everyone will love.


1 clove of garlic, peeled and cut in half

¼ Cup butter

¼ Cup flour

12 oz. beer (non-alcoholic works, too)

6 Cups shredded cheddar cheese

Chopped green onions (optional)


Rub the inside of a saucepan with garlic. Add butter to saucepan and melt over low heat. Stir in flour. Cook for two minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in beer. Increase heat until beer boils. Let beer boil for two minutes, stirring constantly until it is thick and smooth.

Reduce heat. Add cheese ½ a cup at a time, stirring until it is melted.

Transfer to a fondue pot to keep a flame over it.

Garnish with green onions if desired.
